We are looking for a corporate/ commercial associate to join a world leading law firm for initially a 6- month fixed term contract.
The Role: Corporate/ Commercial associate
Contract: 6-month contract
Salary: £400 per day
Start Date: Beginning of October

Role DescriptionResponsible for advising on broad variety of Corporate or Commercial and IP legal projects. These may include:
- Technical legal advice on contractual law, partnerships and a wide range of corporate entities
- Legal due diligence in connection with intra-group and third-party transactions
- Preparation of a broad range of legal documents, including: bespoke constitutional documents for corporate entities, limited partnerships and partnerships, intra-group business, share and asset transfer agreements
- Legal project management of complex multi-jurisdictional transactions, and coordination and quality management of the work of non-UK lawyers on multi-jurisdictional transactions
- Supporting the client on the implementation of transactions, including board support, assistance with the execution of documents and corporate filings
- Corporate Reorganisation engagements
Experience
To be successful you will need the following skills and experience:
•Qualified solicitor in England and Wales
•At least 2 years PQE in UK or equivalent jurisdiction at an in-house legal department or leading law firm
•Either Demonstrable M&A experience or Commercial and IP experience
•Top tier private practice or equivalent in-house experience
•Experience working with senior stakeholders including Board level members
•Strong communication and relationship building skills
•Fluent in written and spoken English
