A leading US law firm based in a stunning City location currently has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team on a maternity contract basis. This is a busy and varied role where the Finance Manager will manage and oversee the London finance team and the financial operations of the London and Brussels offices. The Finance Manager will work alongside the Office Administrator as well as other members of the wider European and global finance teams. This role will cover the following key areas of responsibility:

  • Financial operations (including billings and collections, accounts payable, payroll, fixed assets and banking)
  • UK LLP financial statements and audit processes
  • SAR and tax compliance including VAT and partnership returns
  • Policies and procedures
  • Budgets and forecasts
  • Managing local and international bank accounts
  • Inventory management
  • Payroll
  • Payments and key reconciliations
  • EC Sales Lists and quarterly VAT returns
  • HMRC compliance
  • SAR Audits
  • Accrual based trial balances
  • UK LLP financial statements
  • UK LLP statutory accounts
  • UK LLP partnership tax computations
  • Partnership tax returns

The Finance Manager must have relevant experience in a senior finance function at a Law Firm and have a strong understanding of SRA, accounting and tax requirements in the UK.
