This international banking organisation is looking to recruit a junior legal counsel to join its London based EMEA legal team.

Description

Sitting in one of the transactional legal teams in London you will be responsible for the following matters:

  • On a daily basis, draft, review and negotiate the legal documentation for capital markets transactions (e. final terms) with a focus on non‐syndicated trades, repackaging trades and EMTN programme updates;
  • Support and coordinate the due diligence process for capital markets transactions;
  • Provide legal support and advice on laws, rules and regulations to front office colleagues relating to their products;
  • Ad hoc review of general commercial contracts when required.

    • Profile

    This role is most likely to suit a junior lawyer (even at NQ level) who is looking to make an early move in house. Debt/equity transaction experience (e. DCM/ECM) gained at a law firm or similar financial institutions is essential and any knowledge in structured products would be helpful.

    Job Offer

    A salary of up to £55,000 + benefits + discretionary bonus.
