Liaising with executors and building relationships to deliver legacy income. To provide effective and efficient administrative support to the Legacy case management team, enabling the team to deliver the objectives relating to residuary and pecuniary legacies.
Client Details
Manage the performance of the Assistant Legacy Officer team
Responsible for monitoring and reviewing case files to ensure appropriate management and efficiency
Set objectives for the team to ensure delivery of the strategy.
To ensure that all case files managed by the Assistant Legacy Officers are dealt with accurately, effectively, in line with KPIs and with sensitivity and respect.
Lead, develop and motivate team to ensure that they have the necessary skills and abilities to meet the current and future needs of the organisation.
Recruit, develop and retain the best people in order to become employer of choice in the charity sector.
Develop and coach team members to excel in their roles and achieve their maximum potential.
Encourage and build a departmental culture which fits within RSPCA and its brand.
Introduce and maintain appropriate performance management mechanisms to ensure the delivery of the department strategy.
Deputise for the Legacy Income Manager
Description
Undertake the administration of all discretionary gifts and life interest pecuniary / specific gifts to the Society
Deal with all activities and review case files in line with team Key Performance Indicators
Research and Investigate to produce papers for Legacy Committee and Finance and General Purposes Panel in respect of legacy case files where there is ambiguity as to the intended beneficiary
To have an enhanced knowledge of the Branch Legacy Scheme and its terms and conditions and assist members of the team with any queries in this regard
To adhere to delegated authority procedures.
