Paralegal

This role will involve supporting the in-house legal team in providing legal and technical advice across the business and a range of litigation related matters.

Our client is a nationally recognised organisation based in Birmingham city centre.

Description

Key responsibilities will include:

- Manage your own caseload which will include disciplinary cases and litigation files which will be outsourced to Panel firms

- Progress cases in accordance with the organisation's enforcement strategy

- Financial control of files

- Interviewing witness statements and and preparing witness statements

- Collect and collate evidence for disciplinary proceedings and litigation

- Deliver tasks and projects as required in line with the organisation's objectives

Profile

The successful candidate will:

- have a qualifying law degree

- at least 12 months paralegal experience

- ideally have some experience of handling a high volume case load

- have good analytical skills
