Corporate Solicitor – North East/North West – NQ-4 PQE

Our client is a nationally recognised and accredited law firm with a strong presence in the North West and North East. The firm focuses on commercial law, corporate and M&A, finance and banking, real estate, tax, pensions and employment, litigation and dispute resolution. 

There now exists an exciting opportunity to join their growing and award winning corporate team, with the chance to develop your career through advising on some of the biggest transactions in the region.

You will deal with a varied and broad range of Corporate work, focusing on M&A transactions, reorganisations, joint venture and shareholders’ agreements and provide advice on corporate governance, partnership matters, and general commercial law.

You will have early exposure to market leading transactions working with the firm’s high quality client base. You will be required to run your own caseload and will be supervised as necessary, in accordance with your level of experience.

An enthusiasm for business development is crucial for this role, and you will be encouraged to develop a network of clients and intermediaries.

Requirements:

  • A first-class legal ability coupled with a practical commercial approach; and excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills
  • Exposure to Corporate law
  • An academic background, having graduated from respectable institutions with exceptional grades and trained in highly regarded and well established law firms will be a strong advantage
