An opportunity has arisen for a Accounts Payable Assistant to join a US and international law firm based in the City of London. The firm are offering a competitive salary (up to £35k) and the position is full-time (09:30 to 17:30), permanent.
The successful candidate will be responsible for Accounts Payable, Professional Disbursements and Expenses whilst performing a variety of responsibilities to support the overall accounting function. Day to day support will be provided to the legal cashier and finance manager to ensure all supplier statements are fully reconciled against the purchase ledger. The applicant will ensure the accuracy of the purchase ledger at all times, manage employee expenses claims and deal with queries from suppliers.
Ideal candidates will be educated to A’Level standard or equivalent, and must have a minimum of 2 years Accounts Payable experience in a Law Firm or Professional Services Firm. The applicant must possess strong numerical skills and be comfortable with multi currencies and SRA Accounts Rules.
