Fund Governance Executive

Our client is one of the Largest Asset Management companies in Europe. In addition to having a large presence in the UK, they also operate into Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the US. They are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in funds to join their Fund Governance team which works as an adjunct to the Legal team within the business. The Fund Governance team is responsible for ensuring that there are appropriate controls, frameworks and oversight over the management of unit linked funds offered to its clients

Ideal candidate will have experience in Unit Linked Funds and a strong knowledge of DC workplace pension products. Candidates with experience generally in funds will also be considered and will be trained in ULF if successful

The duties will include but are not limited to

• Supporting the Unit Linked Management Committee in management of funds, preparations of minutes of meetings and establishing agenda
• Developing and maintain Unit Linked practice guides
• Ensuring policies are put in place and maintained on the committees legal and regulatory obligations and oversee its implementation
• Liaising with other teams on technical funds issues and act as a point of contact for queries etc

Qualification and experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in funds ( preferably Unit Linked Funds)
• Knowledge of current DC pension market
• Degree in Legal, Compliance, Accounting or Finance
