Sue Ross Legal are currently recruiting for an experienced Matrimonial & Family Lawyer to join our client’s Leeds based office. This is a well known and respected, regional firm of solicitors with offices across Yorkshire. 

The successful candidate will be ambitious and able to work under their own initiative, helping to drive the business forward working towards our clients planned strategy for growth.  You will be managing your own caseload and have experience of managing a vast range of family and matrimonial law.

Within this role your duties will include;

- Handling your own caseload comprising the full mix of family law matters, including generating new work through existing contacts and via client referrals
- Dealing with client queries
- Attending meetings with clients, taking initial instructions and providing advice and information
- Working to set budgets and fee earning targets
- Management skills and ability to lead and mentor a successful department

Applicants should have the following attributes:-

- 3 years PQE (although candidates with more or less experience may also be considered)
- A strong client following
- Good marketing focus and be commercially aware, with a proven background of successful involvement in business development strategies to enable contribution to the growth of the Firm's portfolio
- Able to contribute to the growth of an already successful department
- Pro-active, driven, professional and flexible as well as being friendly and a good team player
- Have excellent technical ability across all levels

In addition to this they should be self-motivated individuals with excellent IT skills, who can convince us they will enjoy being part of an integrated team and will also thrive in an autonomous working environment.
