We are currently working with a Top 100 law firm to help them hire a Head of Tax and Trusts to their award winning Private Wealth team. The firm is recognised as an exceptional employer with a culture of inclusion and people development.
The Private Wealth team support the firm's high net worth clients in providing advice in managing their personal and business assets. They assist in drafting wills and dealing with estate issues such as inheritance tax and succession as well as setting up trusts in cases of incapacity or for charities. Their lawyers are knowledgable, supportive and widely regarded as some of the best in what they do.
In this role you will be heading up the team who are responsible for the managing of the portfolio of trusts the firm look after. This will involve overseeing the general trust administration such as tax returns, compliance, making payments and investments. This is very deadline and regulation heavy work so you will make sure these are adhered to and met at all times.
You will also be involved in providing tax advice and guidance to clients as required so excellent communication skills are essential.
