My client is a global player in pharmaceuticals / medical devices & biotech with a base in Central London. They are looking to grow their team with the addition of a senior life sciences lawyer who will be an intrinsic part of the life cycle of new products.

Description

The Life Sciences Legal Counsel will support a variety of activity related to the development of pharmaceutical / biotech & Medical Device products and ideas from their central London hub. As one of the primary legal supports the work will range from transnational IP, to corporate JV agreements, from SLAs to Licensing collaboration agreements. This is a varied role within the Life Sciences field where someone looking to expand on their current contract knowledge and experience into a broader and more exciting selection of work would find a rewarding challenge.

Profile

The ideal Life Sciences Legal Counsel will be a mid-senior level associate of legal counsel that is UK qualified. You will have trained within the Legal 100 and currently be in a corporate or IP role within a firm focusing on life sciences or in-house supporting a product stream within either Pharmaceuticals / Medical Devices or Bio Tech.

You will have had experience of:

- supporting transactions in the life sciences sector

- transnational IP

- corporate transactions (options/investment in a spin out/jvs)

- general commercial contracts

- R&D experience
