A fantastic US Law Firm based in London is looking to hire a new Conflicts Specialist to join a growing team on a permanent basis. Responsibilities will include managing thorough and accurate conflicts reports in connection with the intake of new business or new hires to the firm including identifying relevant parties, crafting accurate search terms, running searches in the firms database and third-party databases filtering results for utility, composing concise and accurate reports of research results to Attorneys, participate in the training of new Conflicts Research Assistants, assisting with the maintenance of confidential internal database information, maintain securities trading compliance database. Other duties will include conducting factual research relating to the identification of potential conflicts issues, including determining if relevant matters have been closed, ascertaining the nature of an entity’s role in a particular matter, retrieving any existing waivers and identifying affiliate relationships of corporate entities. Candidates must have a minimum of two years Conflicts experience within a Law Firm, in addition to corporate research experience and strong knowledge of the SRA guidelines. Candidates must be degree educated and have excellent written and communication skills.
