Mid / Senior Corporate Associate - Singapore

I am working with a Magic Circle law firm in Singapore who are looking to hire a mid / senior Corporate Lawyer to join their awarding winning M&A practice in Singapore.

Job description:
* 4+ years PQE in the corporate transactional team of a leading international firm.
* Qualified in England & Wales or their equivalent in a common law jurisdiction.
* Experience of regularly taking the lead associate role (including managing junior team members and local counsel) on complex / high value M&A, joint venture and other corporate transactions, including those with a cross border focus.

My client will be keen on candidates who combines 4 years of direct experience at a traditional international or top tier Singapore law firm doing M&A together with a UK, Singapore or other common qualification. In addition, due to specific skill sets which is required for this role, the preference is to have UK qualified candidates although they are open to candidates who are qualified in a common law jurisdiction.

In regards to the reporting line, the Corporate M&A team has 4 partners and will share / pool associates at all levels to work on deals so from time to time, it is possible that the candidate would be reporting to any one or even all of the partners.
