Commercial Solicitor/Associate

We have recently been instructed by our client, a very highly regarded regional law firm, who is seeking to hire a Commercial Solicitor/Associate join their Commercial team in Warwickshire. The role offers a competitive remuneration package along with excellent progression opportunities.

About the role

This Commercial team is highly regarded in the market and is looking to grow it's offering with a number of hires including a Solicitor/Associate who is looking for a solid progression path. Daily work in this role includes drafting and negotiating outsourcing and commercial contracts in the technology, security, logistics, sport and retail services for a range of clients on both the supplier and purchaser side; intellectual property matters, IT related contracts and standard terms and data protection.

About the person

The Commercial Solicitor will be a UK qualified solicitor with ideally a minimum of three years relevant Commercial experience gained at a reputable law firm. Awareness of and a passion for commercial law are necessities, along with excellent interpersonal and self-management skills and the ability to quickly build strong relationships with both colleagues and clients. The successful candidate will be expected to have previous experience of negotiating contracts with both suppliers and customers.
