BCL Legal is delighted to be assisting a highly regarded national law firm seeking to appoint a junior corporate solicitor to join its award winning corporate team in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic junior corporate lawyer looking to make the next step in their corporate career.

The team

The firm is known for its lack of hierarchy and the corporate team in Birmingham full embodies this philosophy, meaning the successful candidate will gain exposure to clients from the outset and work closely with the partners and senior lawyers to develop their technical and commercial skills.

The work

The successful candidate can expect to work on interesting, varied and high quality corporate deals. The team advice on all aspects of corporate finance work including; M&A, private equity, venture capital, capital markets, joint ventures and re-organisations. The firm is also recognised among the top M&A practices as most active in terms of the number of deals done per year.

The role

The role will suit an ambitious and enthusiastic junior corporate solicitor with strong academics, good training and post qualification corporate experience, looking to join a team that focuses on delivering excellent client experience.

The candidate

Applications are sought from corporate solicitors with at least twelve months experience gained working in a well regarded corporate team. The successful corporate solicitor is also likely to have strong communication skills, be a team player and enjoy working in a client facing role.
