Commercial technology solicitor required for the Birmingham office of a leading national law firm. You would be joining a growing team that can offer plenty of scope for internal progression and excellent quality commercial and IT work for clients nationally and internationally in both the public and private sectors. Flexible working patterns and part-time hours can be accommodated.

Commercial Technology Lawyer. A leading national firm is looking for an experienced commercial solicitor with solid IT experience to join its highly regarded national commercial team working from Birmingham city centre.

The Role:
* Advising on a range of commercial tech matters, not limited to contracts for the supply, support and maintenance of IT systems (acting for both buyers and suppliers), outsourcing and software licences, terms and conditions for websites and e-commerce as well as more general commercial contracts such as agency, supply and distribution, manufacturing and licensing agreements and privacy/data protection matters.
* Sector focus is broad and encompasses clients in both the public and private sectors.

Candidate Requirements:
* At least two years' experience in commercial technology work, ideally from a large regional, national or international firm.
* A good understanding of general commercial contracts as well as IP and data protection.
* You will be a keen networker with the ability to grow internal relationships across the firm as well as externally with clients.
* You will have drive, enthusiasm, ambition and a positive outlook.
