Locum Contracts & Procurement Lawyer

Venn Group's specialist legal team are delighted to be recruiting for a Contracts & Procurement Locum to join a small Local Authority legal team based in the Northern Home Counties, commutable from London and the West Midlands.

This contract is offered for an initial period of 3 months with the possibility of extension dependant on work load and the needs of the organisation.

The ideal candidate will be a Solicitor or Legal Executive with the ability to handle a caseload of Commercial Contracts and Procurement matters, it would be beneficial if they were also able to handle some Property matters however this is not essential. Experience working in a Local Authority would also be preferred, but applications from suitable Private Practice with relevant experience will also be considered.

You will be expected to advise and draft a variety of contracts as required, including construction contracts specifically relating to the building of Leisure Centres and the refurbishment of council property.

The client can offer an attractive rate of between £35-45 per hour dependant on experience and boasts a location that is easily commutable by public transport along with having both free parking.
