Our client a busy Local Authority based in Essex is seeking a Planning Lawyer to join their team for an initial six month assignment with the strong possibility of extension.
The scale of development within the area is unique and this is a great opportunity for candidates looking to further their experience on large strategic schemes within the public sector.
The successful Planning Lawyer will be required to demonstrate recent experience in Planning Law as the majority of the work will be at a complex level.
You will also be required to pick up an existing caseload including:
- Judicial reviews,
- Planning inquiries and enforcement,
- Planning committee work,
- Negotiation and completion of complex and high value s106 planning agreements
- s278 agreements
