Senior Commercial Lawyer

This is the perfect opportunity for a Senior Commercial Lawyer to move In-house as part of a small, experienced legal team. You will advise on a mix of multi-jurisdictional commercial matters and have substantial involvement in growing the business.

As Legal Counsel, your role will involve;

· Providing advice on contractual matters
· Advising and taking the lead on GDPR and Data Protection matters
· Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts (including IT and software licences)
· Advising on litigation, management and settlement
· Interacting with directors, managers, and commercial teams
· Advising on intellectual property, compliance, regulatory, and employment matters
· Managing relationships with external lawyers

The business are looking for a Legal Counsel with;

· Broad commercial experience, either In-house or in Practice
· Experience of advising on GDPR (or willingness to pick up)
· At least 3 years PQE
· Confidence to challenge and manage relationships with stakeholders
· Advantageous to have experience in or with IT/software businesses
