Are you a debt recovery paralegal, experienced in defended litigation?

Anakin Seal are recruiting for an exciting new in-house paralegal position for a leading, worldwide financial services company.

You will join their offices in Leeds on a full time basis, Monday to Friday 9:00 to 5:00 with 45 minutes lunch (Mon-Thurs) and 1 hour lunch on Friday.

You will join a team of four, and report to the collections manager. You will be responsible for the management of a volume litigated debt recovery caseload, from inception through to enforcement; whilst also being responsible for handling defended cases as and when they arise.

Applications from debt recovery paralegals/ legal executives with a minimum of 2 years' experience handling their own litigated caseload, defended litigation experience (drafting witness statements, instructions to counsel, reply to defence/ counterclaim, dealing with adhoc applications etc) is essential.

Successful candidates will be paid a salary of up to £26,000 dependant on experience and be able to take up to 25 days holiday (plus statutory bank holidays).
