Legal Associate – Global Hedge Fund

Our client, a global hedge fund, is looking for a junior corporate commercial lawyer to join their London based legal team. The role is especially focused on preparation and review of contracts and other legal documents, regulatory reporting and research, corporate governance, interactions with various parts of the business and working on larger team projects.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review contracts and other legal documents;
  • Undertake research for senior legal colleagues;
  • Assist with reports to regulators;
  • Assist with governance obligations;
  • Work on broader business and regulatory projects;
  • Provide support on due diligence reviews.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Recently-qualified to 2-year PQE lawyer with corporate/commercial experience
  • A background in financial services would be beneficial
