Private Client Lawyer - to join leading regional law firm: Main Duties and Responsibilities
To provide optimal value to the business by:
- Dealing with preparation of Wills, Estate Administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection matters, Inheritance and Tax Planning matters. In addition there may be an element of contentious probate work alongside the Litigation Team.
- Dealing with accounts processes including Case Management Systems and Estate Management Systems.
- Dealing with preparation of Inheritance Tax Returns for Estates and Trusts
- Involvement in business development initiatives for the department
- Keeping up-to-date with changes in Private Client law and related Taxation issues
- Delivering updates for both clients and teams internally
- Drafting Trust Deeds, Trustee Resolutions, Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney
