IN-HOUSE solicitor - with GDPR / data protection experience

Your new company
Growing company, based in South Manchester, is looking to appoint a qualified solicitor to work as part of an expanding legal department.

Your new role
Reporting into the Head of Legal, you will work in a business-facing role, advising on non-contentious commercial matters related to GDPR as well as managing GDPR projects. You must have the experience to work autonomously and without supervision and as well as directly dealing with senior stakeholders up to exec level, you will also assist the Head of Legal in general in-house legal queries.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a UK qualified solicitor with a solid background in commercial law and the ability to provide robust advice on GDPR matters. You will have completed your training with a well-regarded law firm and have excellent relationship building skills in order to work effectively across the business and influence decision making at all levels.
