Commercial Solicitor / Legal Executive. Very Minimal Fee Earning. Agile and part-time working available.
An unusual commercial role has become available to lead a team and run your own commercial caseload.
This top tier firm are expanding their Plymouth based commercial team and seek a qualified solicitor or legal executive to join them.
Unusually your time here will be split between managing a small team of high performing paralegals and unqualified fee earners, as well as managing your own small yet complex and diverse caseload. You will provide technical assistance on the teams caseload, and work alongside senior managers, to oversee the development and training of this already high performing team.
Both yours and your teams caseload will often be complex in nature. You will handle a broad range of commercial contracts matters relating to (amongst others) procurement, franchising and concessions, fund formation, managed and shared services, logistics and supply chain management. The clients are often large multi-nationals, and across broad sectors including transport, manufacturing, chemical and financial services.
Very importantly you will be an astute, commercially aware lawyer with one eye on the bottom line, and the other on consistently providing an unrivalled level of service to clients.
Solicitors and legal executives with at least 2-3 years commercial litigation experience are encouraged to apply. It is essential you also have some managerial experience, having previously managed more junior fee earners.
This role is just the start, and with your help this team are looking to grow and develop. You will be at the forefront of this growth, and will be passionate about delivering the very best legal service possible.
