Commercial Locum – South West

£300 to £400 per day

Venn Group has been instructed by a well-known, ambitious full service law firm, to recruit into their market leading Technology and Innovation team. The successful candidate will predominantly be providing legal advice on commercial issues to clients in the TMT sector.

This is a full time locum assignment with high quality work on offer, working with clients involved in the development and innovation of cutting edge tech in the IT, Telecoms and E-commerce sectors. It is due to commence in October and is likely to last 3 to 6 months in duration, with possibility of extension.

A large portion of the role will involve drafting and negotiating outsourcing agreements, software and systems license agreements as well as various commercial and development agreements.

The daily rate is expected to be £300 - £400 per day, depending on experience. If you feel you are an exceptional candidate and require a higher rate, please do enquire.

To be considered for this attractive locum opportunity you must have a minimum of 4 years' experience practising commercial law, preferably for clients in the TMT sector. The successful applicant will have strong working knowledge of consumer protection law, distance selling law data protection and FOI laws.
