14 Month FTC – IT Project Manager at UK Law Firm, Salary £Competitive

Our UK law firm client are currently looking for an IT Project Manager to join their Information Technology team on a specific Finance project. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and delivery of the new Practice Management System, migrating from the existing system including any integrations to the firm’s other systems. Key responsibilities for this role will be planning, monitoring and managing all aspects of the replacement Practice Management System project, from initiation through to completion, including the tender process for the selection, leading or co-ordinating project planning, resourcing and progress reporting, ensuring project results meet requirements regarding reliability, schedule and cost/budgets, monitoring performance and recommending schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions, maintaining an up-to-date, accurate and complete view of the project, enabling informed and timely decisions to be made on plan, budget, scope, issues, risks, interdependencies and quality, maintaining up-to-date Action, Risk & Issue Logs and agree appropriate mitigating actions, seeing these through to completion, including, where necessary, escalation to appropriate decisions-makers. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working on similar projects within a law firm or other professional services environments, a Prince 2 qualification is also essential. The salary for this role is flexible depending on experience.
