Family Solicitor - (Legal Aid / Child Care Focus)

We are working with a Birmingham city centre law firm who are looking to recruit a solicitor to take the lead on family matters in Birmingham as part of a wider national team.

Description

You will be working alongside two paralegals to help drive the Family Law offering in Birmingham. The firm has a legal aid contract so there is an existing caseload of work largely made up of children and domestic violence matters.

The firm is looking for somebody who can help drive forward their Birmingham offering and take on the existing caseload, as well as come up with ideas to help drive the Birmingham team.

This is a role that will give you autonomy and responsibility but you will also work closely with senior lawyers in other offices.

Profile

It's likely that you will have at least 2 years' experience in legal aid family/childcare matters.
