Legal Counsel - Private Banking & Asset Management

A unique opportunity has arisen with a highly regarded private banking and asset management group in their London office on a 10 month maternity cover contract. The ideal candidate will have financial services industry experience and be available to start by mid-October.

Reporting to the UK General Counsel you be responsible for:

- drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documentation including NDAs, fee and enagement letters

- reviewing financial promotions and marketing material

- outsourcing and service agreements for the UK and wider group

- compliance work including FCA reporting, policy updates, preperation of management information for board meetings and acting as the point of contact for Group Compliance

- KYC analysis and queries

- company secretarial work

- day to day support to the private banking and asset management businesses

- liasing with colleagues in other European offices

You will be 5+ years PQE as a guide, preferably trained in a top tier firm with relevant experience either in-house or private practice. Broad experience across legal and compliance matters within the financial services sector would be highly advantaegous.
