Part Time Paralegal - Charity

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paralegal to join large charity in central London on a part time basis.

The charity works to provide free and confidential advice to individuals in relation to financial, legal, consumer, housing and other issues through a large network across the UK.

The successful Part Time Paralegal will predominantly focus on the negotiation of funding agreements, as well as drafting other commercial contracts, advising on intellectual property matters (like trade marks and copyrights) and dealing with data protection and privacy matters.  

Alongside your day-to-day responsibilities, the Part Time Paralegal will also get involved with project work, such as GDPR and the delivery of an internal project to increase awareness of the in-house legal function at the charity.

The ideal Paralegal will have 3+ years of In House experience with a focus on negotiating commercial contracts. Exposure to funding agreements would be advantageous.

This part time role offers lots of autonomy so would suit an experienced Paralegal who enjoys working in a role with lots of responsibility and is looking to reduce their hours. This opportunity would therefore really suit a parent returning to work part time or someone with other interests outside work.

The charity are very flexible and are happy for the successful Paralegal to spread their 18 hours across three, four or  five days per week.
