Legal Counsel

Working in a new innovative department in a world leading bank's asset management branch.

Your new role
The main focus on this role will be to work on legal and regulatory affairs to support and advise the company. Due to the nature of the department, a focus on loan documentation (loan facility agreements, agreements with loan servicers, and other forms of loan documentation) will be an important aspect of the role. You will also be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating and coordinating other agreements and other legal documentation for the department. Identifying, managing and reporting legal risks for all areas of the department will also be of importance, along with a range of other varied tasks. You will also work closely with an external counsel.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified lawyer with strong previous experience of loan documentation. You will have strong communication skills as you will act as a key part of the newly created team, liaising with both senior management and external counsel to advance this new platform.
