This is an opportunity for a Construction, Projects or Infrastructure Lawyer to join one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects.
Client Details
Our client is a world famous infrastructure and engineering organisation dedicated to improving the living environment in London, UK.
Description
The key responsibilities with this role include:
1. Provision of legal advice on construction, regulatory and commercial issues; or
2. Provision of legal advice in relation to the group's financing programme
NB: Strength in either of these two areas will suffice (candidates with experience of both will be looked upon favourably).
Profile
The successful applicant is likely to:
* be a qualified solicitor, holding a current practising certificate for England and Wales (or equivalent);
* have at least 3 years' of PQE gained working in-house in the projects, construction or infrastructure sectors and/or in private practice, at a top ranked law firm for that candidates specific specialism;
Experience of construction law (NEC contracting) and/or either project or structured finance is highly desirable
Experience in one or more of the following areas of law: public procurement, property law, or planning law is desirable
A demonstrable understanding of commercial considerations as well as the ability to effectively manage risks while maximising commercial opportunities is another key skill set which this business is looking for.
