FinTech Commercial Counsel 0-3 years PQE

An exciting opportunity has come up for a junior legal counsel to join a successful FinTech company which started up in 2017 and already has offices globally and 70+ employees. The project of this company brings together the blockchain innovation community to build the next-generation, open-source, cryptocurrency and token wallet that will become the dashboard for your digital life.

You would be working alongside the Head of Legal and Compliance and a paralegal to service the legal needs of the business. This is a dynamic and passionate business looking for someone who has an interest in blockchain and data and who wants to contribute to the success of the company.

The work involved will be varied but mainly will involve negotiating a range of contracts and terms with suppliers and other legal documents, managing external counsel, providing internal teams and stakeholders with excellent service and support, keeping up to date with data protection regulations and liaising with other key regulators such as the FCA and the London Stock Exchange.

The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years PQE within a commercial/IT team and have had some demonstrable and relevant in-house experience. You will be confident, enthusiastic with a “can-do” attitude.
