Legal Counsel- Artificial Intelligence

A world leader in artificial intelligence, which is currently experiencing a significant period of growth and supported by some of the leading technology entrepreneurs in the world, is currently looking to appoint an experienced Lawyer to deal with complex legal matters raised by cutting-edge healthcare technology.

You will be responsible for advising on all product-related legal issues that arise from the development of innovative health technologies and provide advice, and training on UK/EU laws and regulations related to the commercialisation of these technologies. Working closely with several other lawyers and report directly into the General Counsel based in the US you will advise various individuals within the business including researchers, product managers, engineers and other cross-functional teams on a range of legal issues including but not limited to; privacy, commercial, Intellectual Property and regulatory matters.  

The organisation is heavily regulated and therefore to be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate experience in UK and EU regulation of medical devices or have worked in a similar regulated organisation. This will be a senior appointment within the team and you will ideally have 7+ PQE experience in Private Practice or In House dealing with healthcare, data protection, privacy and intellectual property law. Ideal candidates will additionally have experience providing legal support for deployment of medical devices, life science transactions or advising science engineering teams on structuring IP and Commercial terms
