EMEA Commercial & Contracts Director – Change Management

Our client is a top FTSE PLC operating worldwide and going through significant growth. As a result of this growth a new vacancy has been created for a Commercial Director to lead a large team of contract and commercial specialists operating across EMEA.

You will be an inspirational leader, keen to transform the way the team works and maximise the value they add to the business. Our client is seeking to change the current structure and ensure all staff are inspired and motivated. You will also assist in implementing commercial strategic vision across the business playing a key part in developing and implementing appropriate business and commercial solutions to match the fast pace and dynamic nature of the organisation. This is a role where you will drive transformation/change both across people and processes.

The Commercial and contract teams closely support Bid teams keeping a close eye on risk, liabilities and commitments of contractual agreements. They work with all business units including Account Management, Sales and Strategic Pricing to ensure cohesive commercial strategies.

The ideal candidate for this position will have significant management experience leading a commercial/contracts team. You will be a visionary keen to improve on team structures and processes, always striving for the best. You will be a strong negotiator and have significant experience of supporting business development teams ideally (but not essentially) on a global level. You will have a strong understanding of contract structures and key legal elements and be able to draft variations. You will also be able to effectively access deal profitability.
