Legal Counsel

Your new role
Reporting to the Global Head of Legal, your main duty will be to provide legal advice to the business in the UK and Europe. This role will have a transactional focus (bilateral lending, trade finance, etc.) meaning that you will provide legal analysis and provision of detailed legal and structuring advice on transactions, as well as drafting, and negotiating transaction documentation for the UK and Europe. However, you will also get exposure to a mix of other aspects of law, including advising on regulatory affairs, legacy matters and regulatory change.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified solicitor or barrister in England and Wales, and have experience working in financial services. This role will require you to have a detailed knowledge of all relevant UK legislation to the bank.

What you'll get in return
You will receive £70,000 - £95,000, with a bonus and benefits. It is also a good opportunity to work in a leading international bank, with a friendly and supportive atmosphere to allow you to grow as a legal professional with a range of experience.
