Corporate Solicitor

A strong regional firm are looking for a Corporate Solicitor to join their award winning team based in Newcastle. Our client has built up a strong reputation which is recognised nationally. The Corporate team has built up a fantastic reputation which has lead them to being awarded numerous awards and regarded by many as the number one team in the North East.

The Role
You will be working on a wide range of corporate matters that includes; mergers and acquisitions, shareholder agreements, listed company transactions and IPOs, corporate finance transactions, major fundraisers and much more.
You will be acting for a range of well-established clients that include; SME's, owner managed businesses and large corporations.
The firm actively encourage you to be involved with the team marketing and business development, however this is not necessary

The Candidate
Our client is ideally looking for someone between NQ and 4 years' PQE, however this level of experience has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this level.
Our client will consider candidates who are looking for part-time work with great corporate experience.
You should have strong corporate law knowledge, technical ability and business acumen
You must have a genuine interest in this area of law and a keen desire to progress your career.
It is very desirable that you have an interest in business development and previous experience, however this is not essential. Â
