An Award-Winning International Law Firm is looking to a hire a new Premises & Facilities Manager to join the London office on a permanent basis, responsible for the delivery of a cost-effective, client-focused Property and Facilities service for the UK office. Responsibilities will include organising and directing the facilities team, develop and implement a service catalogue and appropriate service level agreements for facilities management services, reviewing the in-house resource utilisation and productivity to establish optimum staff levels and shifts, implement a policy of continuous improvement and develop, present and implement new ideas to improve the scope and quality of service delivery standards, to be fully conversant with the statutory requirements of relevant legislation applicable to the office, premises activities such as location, amount of space and use of space, to formulate and gain acceptance of accommodation strategies and to organise and direct the efficient control, utilisation and design of office space and to provide good quality accommodation to appropriate standards for our people. Other duties include to plan and direct resource to ensure premises are provided with suitable and responsive facilities management on a day to day basis with all necessary support services and within appropriate budget constraints, to ensure suitable maintenance, service, environmental, energy conservation and investment strategies are devised and implemented to defined standards and agreed service levels and planned over a continuing period. Maintain a Forward Maintenance Register and life cycle plan, manage and develop mechanical and electrical services, to develop a Sustainable Development policy and initiatives and to deliver a programme of development and maintenance which ensures that Government reduction targets are met, develop a value for money Waste management and Recycling scheme to meet current Environmental Legislation, prepare annual budgets and exercise proper financial control in the management of such budgets, ensuring expenditure remains within agreed limits, whilst also ensuring procurement procedures are applied and adhered to, project manage when required. Candidates must have extensive experience within Property Management and Faculties within a professional services organisation, preferably a law firm. A Health & Safety qualification is desirable, along with excellent leadership and management skills.
