An exciting opportunity has arisen with a global manufacturing business at the forefront of their field.  Our client has offices in the UK and are seeking to appoint a Legal Counsel that will sit on their Executive team and advise the board. This is an important and highly respectable position for the business. You must be able to work autonomously, work with senior as well junior members of staff across the business and deliver advice confidently. 

You will enjoy handling a wide variety of work by advising all areas within the business. You can expect to deal with everything from general commercial contracts to compliance, regulatory, IP, corporate issues, early stage disputes, and instructing external counsel.

You must be prepared to roll up your sleeves and tackle day to day legal/commercial matters but also have an influence on the businesses strategy and future development.

Preferably, you will have:

•          Qualified Solicitor –  4+ PQE* but not strict guidelines

•          Commercial contracts experience (essential)

•          In-house experience (desirable)

•          IT/Tech/Engineering exposure (advantageous)
