Commercial IP Solicitor needed by UK international law firm that is setting up operations in Dublin as part of its Brexit strategy. Great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of its development.
Client Details
Our client is a UK top-100 commercial law firm with offices in the UK and Asia and now opening in Dublin as part of its Brexit strategy. The firm is recognised by clients and industries alike as being distinct: for its deep understanding, insight and advice to creative, innovative and brand-focused businesses; for its market-leading international practice; and for delivering pragmatic, commercial advice in a refreshingly human way.
Description
The role will be varied and will involve working closely with the firm's Commercial, Litigation and Data Legal Practice Groups in London. There should also be an interest and willingness to contribute strongly to our some of the firm's Sector Focus Groups (e. Technology, Advertising and Marketing, Retail, Sports Business).
This is a standalone role for now in a proposed team of 10 lawyers over the next 12 months but in time there may be the opportunity to grow a department.
Profile
The successful individual will be 3+ years' PQE Irish qualified solicitor with strong technical legal skills, and have extensive experience of working on non-contentious commercial matters preferably with an IP and/or tech focus. They will also have the ability to assist with general commercial litigation matters when required.
The ideal candidate should have substantial experience from working in a medium or large private practice law firm or a niche commercial/technology/data practice focussed practice.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to significantly contribute to the launch and founding of our Dublin office. They will be relied upon to contribute to putting in place good working practices between Dublin and the London office. There will also be the opportunity to travel to London regularly to work with and get to know the wider team.

Excellent salary, working hours, benefits package and career opportunity.
