A leading insurance business in Birmingham is seeking a new Motor Claims Negotiator to join their expanding department. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career within an area of motor claims that offers one of the most desired skill sets in the Birmingham market.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage a case-load of motor claims and deliver individual monthly pledge and cash targets to drive effective recovery of claims costs
  • Investigate causes of non -payment delays to resolve promptly whilst providing a high level of customer service throughout
  • Review claim scenarios, locations and road layouts of accidents, speaking with clients and witnesses if liability is disputed to establish who is at fault
  • Produce a chronology of events through liaising with repairers and insurers if hire period is disputed before making recommendations

Skills and Experience

  • NQ
  • Experience in motor claims, debt recovery or customer service
  • Hardworking, enthusiastic attitude

Salary, Contract and Benefits

  • Competitive Base Salary (£18,000 - £20,000)
