Senior Counsel - Trade Finance - In House FTC

OUR CLIENT

A global bank seeks to appoint a lawyer 5PQE+ to handle a Trade Finance role. The position has been created due to an increase in the volume of work within the team. The position will be for c 9 months to start, with a possibility of an extension.

THE ROLE

The post holder will be expected to handle an international workload with a focus on Trade Finance, handling both transactional and advisory work

As a key member of a well respected in house legal team you will be expected to work in a business facing role. As part of the role you will be expected to advise on regulatory and risk managment matters

There may be some travel to European offices.

As part of the role the post holder will be responsible for managing Junior team members and external advisers

The Candidate

To be considered for this exceptional opportunity, candidates must be able to demonstrate first rate technical skills, with experience of trade finance work.

Candidate will be expected to be available to start the role within the next 4 weeks
