Funds Lawyer job based in Central London

Your new company
This leading global funds distributor is looking for a legal counsel to join their London team to provide coverage for their UK & Ireland businesses whilst also supporting the wider European business.

Your new role
The current need is for an experienced legal counsel to support several business areas mainly in the UK but with a wider remit to support the European business. This will involve the on-boarding of funds for distribution; distributor on-boarding; assisting client services with day to day queries on investment; dealing with regulatory matter and providing regulatory and legal advice to the business.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will ideally have 6-10 years of post qualification experience and will have a demonstrable background of working within a financial services team. You will have knowledge of the acquisition and distribution of UCITS and Exchange Traded Funds and a familiarity of relevant fund documentation including prospectuses and KIID. A strong regulatory knowledge is also required.
Proficiency in other European languages would be highly beneficial.
