Leading and growing US law firm is seeking a London-based Director of Legal Recruitment to cover all Legal Recruitment, from graduate to Partner, across multiple EMEA offices. The successful individual will manage their own team based in London and will form part of the wider global Legal Talent Team and with the firm going through a period of worldwide expansion with the EMEA offices playing a key part of this strategic growth. Our client is looking for someone to join the team who will build on the current successful recruitment strategy and add both value and insight, building relationships with key stakeholders across the business. A summary of duties will include being asked to work closely with the London Management Committee, Global Practice Group Leaders and EMEA Office Lead Partners to coordinate and drive forward the lateral recruitment program, undertake and lead Partner recruitment, develop and implement a strategy regarding the future growth of the EMEA Offices, Collaborate with Chief Talent Officer and Global Legal Talent Team to build relationships and drive forward a unified global recruitment and recruitment brand strategy, work with Practice Group Managers and Partners to assess pipeline recruitment needs, develop and monitor the annual departmental budget, oversee the production of relevant metrics and regular reporting to key stakeholders on recruitment and diversity success and keep abreast of relevant best practice and legislation changes and advise on policy changes accordingly. Applicants need to have worked for a minimum 8 years within legal recruitment, have experience of managing a team, previously been responsible for Partner and lateral recruitment and ideally worked at Director or ‘Head of’ level within a leading law firm, EMEA experience would be a bonus however not essential. This role will require international travel.
