Kennedys is looking for a NQ - two year Qualified Solicitor to join our Healthcare Division, in either our London or Birmingham offices, to work on NHS Resolution clinical negligence litigation matters.
This is a great opportunity for candidates who have an interest in this area to join a highly reputable Division, ranked in the top tier for Defendant Clinical Negligence in both Chambers and Legal 500.
Type of Clients:
- NHS Resolution
- NHS Healthcare clients
- Independent hospital groups and practitioners.
Type of Cases:
Claims both pre-litigation and in litigation covering the full range of clinical negligence issues including, surgical, obstetric, orthopaedic and psychiatric.
Experience
Essential:
- Good knowledge of clinical negligence litigation process and Civil Procedure Rules
- Litigation experience within clinical negligence or personal injury as part of a training contract
- NHS Resolution experience
Desirable:
- Experience of managing own clinical negligence and/or personal injury caseload subject to supervision.
- File management.
