Litigation Paralegal

Your new company

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join a well-known general/commercial law firm in Belfast. The main purpose of the role is to support the litigation partner and broader litigation team in its varied workload which includes preparing cases and representing clients facing proceedings and assisting with case preparation in relation to defending a variety of claims on behalf of insurance clients.

Your new role

You will support the team in preparing cases and assisting with the defence of a range of claims
Provide administrative support to the legal team including arranging conferences, filing and preparing for hearings
Answer telephone enquiries and provide appropriate responses which will require the post holder to familiarise her/himself quickly with all of the individuals within the organisation

What you'll need to succeed

Excellent organisation and communication skills are required
You will ideally have some relevant work experience assisting solicitors with cases, preparing for hearings and answering telephone enquiries in an in-house legal department or in private practice.
