Residential Conveyancing Assistant
Are you an experienced Legal Secretary or Residential Property Paralegal looking for a role within a widely recognised Law Firm? This is a great opportunity to be a part of a reputable practice in Liverpool with a salary of up to £19,000 on offer.
You
This role is perfect for an experienced individual who can demonstrate the following:
* At least 6 months experience of assisting a Fee Earner with Residential Property transactions.
* A detailed understanding of the of the conveyancing life cycle.
* Experience working on Post completion matters, including SDLT, AP1'S and registrations is desirable.
* An ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a high-level quality of work and organisation.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues, clients and other external parties.
The Role
As a Residential Conveyancing Assistant, you will provide support to the Fee Earner in a wide range of residential property matters. You will assist on files from inception through to completion and in some cases be involved with the Post Completion stage. Your daily duties will include but are not limited to:
* Preparing exchange and completions letters, conduct searches, reports and any other correspondence when required.
* Prepare and submit registrations to the land registrations.
* Coordinating exchange of contracts.
* Liaising with clients daily, keeping them up-to-date on their files whilst delivering the highest level of customer service.
* As well as clients, interacting with other external parties such as estate agents and solicitors.
