In House Paralegal

An independent regulator responsible for promoting high-quality corporate governance within the financial services industry is seeking an in-house paralegal or legal assistant to provide legal support on investigations and prosecutions. This is an exciting opportunity for a paralegal to work within this independent disciplinary body for the accountancy and actuarial professions in the UK.

Role and Responsibilities

The paralegal responsibilities include:

• Providing support to the Lawyers and Forensic professionals on investigations and prosecutions
• Collating and recording case material
• Preparing bundles for case interviews/tribunal hearings
• Liaising with external advisers, including forensic accountants, experts and counsel

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

To be considered, candidates must have:

• Completed their LPC and/or BVC
• Previous paralegal experience working in a similar role with a regulatory/criminal enforcement body or a criminal or commercial litigation law firm
• Strong academics (2 LLB preferred) with strong A levels
