My Client is a well-known and established practice with several offices throughout the West Yorkshire area. They are now seeking to expand their accounts team further with the appointment of a Legal Cashier

The Role:

You will be supporting the Accounts department manager in the provision of Financial Services to the business. Your duties will include but not limited to;

• Making sure the Solicitors Accounts Rules are adhered to.
• Complying with Money Laundering requirements.
• Process incoming BACS/CHAPS.
• Process client and office account cheque receipts, banking these daily.
• Execute outgoing CHAPS and BACS payments via online banking
• Cheque production from both client and office account.
• Cheque and raise bills.
• Input authorised invoices.
• Manage the petty cash procedure.
• Credit control.
• Dealing with accounts queries.
• The ability to reconcile bank accounts daily

The ideal candidate must have experience working within legal accounting and have a working knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules. Ideally you will have 2 years working as a Cashier. In return for your experience the firm will offer excellent remuneration package and genuine progression.
