Are you looking to progress your career and thrive in one of the top law firms in London? Are you struggling to make the next step despite your excellent experience? We have a fantastic opening for a Capital Markets Paralegal to join our client’s firm on an on-going temp basis.

Ideally, we would like the successful paralegal candidate to have at least 12 months availability as contracts like this are renowned to roll over for an extended period of time. The salary will up to £32,000 pro rata.

Key aspects of the role:

• Achieving client led deadlines
• Being able to work effectively with senior colleagues including Partners, managing Associates and Clients.
• Possessing strong communication, ownership and time management skills to see jobs through until completion

You will need to have:

• Capital Markets experience
• 2:1 in law degree and the LPC
• Good working knowledge of platforms and supporting technology, including post-closing assistance tools, legal research tools and due diligence platforms
• The confidence to provide best practice guidance to fellow paralegals and support lawyers

Key responsibilities

Assistance on specific projects requiring specific legal training and knowledge:

• Billing– dealing with internal and client billing teams
• Matter management support
• Pre and post-closing assistance
• Preparing execution documents for signing
• Drafting core and auxiliary transaction documents
• Proof-reading
