OUR CLIENT
Leading global technology business seeks to recruit a Solicitor 2 - 5 PQE to handle a commercial / IT workload as a key member of an international legal team covering Spain and Latin America. The role will be initially for a 12 moth contract.
THE ROLE
The post holder will be expected to advise on key legal issues and will be expected to draft, review and negotiate supply/vendor agreements and commercial contracts with banks, retailers and telecoms companies.
Key work areas will cover ;-
Review of marketing materials, web selling, websites, direct marketing,
Regulatory aspects of advertising, telemarketing and data protection / e -privacy matters
Compliance, advising on the selling/marketing of products to consumers advising on regulatory changes in the Spanish and UK markets that may impact on the business
Development of compliance and governance programmes
Company Secretarial and corporate work - M & A
Trademarks/IP renewal and registration
Liaison with external counsel
Litigation - commercial disputes/ consumer complaints
THE POST HOLDER
To be considered for this exciting career move, applicants must be fully qualified in the UK, candidates with Spanish language skills would be of particular interest.
